Have you ever felt like you’re in a strong Vinyasa class and the teacher throws “virabadrasana 2” (warrior 2) on you and you were not sure where your feet are going, your pelvis, your arms, your gaze... you’re just trying to catch your breath and find Nirvana.. your hippie friend told you yoga would be good for you... but you just cant get it. If you are a yoga practitioner for many years, you know we always learn to have a beginner mind. There can be postures you know your body just doesn’t get, or don’t go along with, and you’d like to deepen. If you have said yes - Well, you’re in the right place, as this is the perfect workshop for you! A time and space to learn, slow down and break down. 120 minutes of pure understanding and breaking down postures and playing with them so your body would actually be able to remember (muscle memory) and get into more comfortably and with ease in other faster and more dynamic classes, or in your own practice. A workshop to teach you the right way- how to, how not to, why? Hands on, and with a very gentle approach to every body and mind. Integrative yoga is named after the integration of Iyengar yoga, Hatha, and other authentic practices to learn how to deepen our practice while also clam and quite the mind, and heal our bodies. Join me once a month at Fair Harvest Yoga Barn, each month we will dive into a different topic (sun salutations, back extensions/opening/"bending", forwards folds, inversions etc) Buy yourself a bundle of 5 workshops for $125 to create a monthly course! *We have mats and props limited to 8-10 people, book in and bring your mat or props if you have them (or if you see the booking is quite full).
