A Gentle Yin Practice for Shoulder & Neck Release
This deeply restorative class is designed to help you soften physical tension and emotional weight held in the shoulders, neck, and upper body.
In Yin Yoga, we explore stillness by finding our edge — the space where sensation begins — and resting there with presence. Poses are held for 3–5 minutes, allowing the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue to gently open. You’re invited to surrender into this space of sensation, without force or pain, and simply observe what unfolds.
This practice supports nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep rest.
It’s a beautiful companion to meditation, or simply a way to come home to your body.
We begin with a grounding, Qi Gong–inspired movement to settle your energy and connect to your breath — a gentle, fluid way to arrive before the stillness of Yin.
